2. What are your hours?
The Chiropractor’s hours are from 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday and half day on Tuesday 8:30a.m.- 12:00pm and closed on Thursday. Massage and Pilates (reformer) sessions may be scheduled Monday thru Saturday but by appointment only. You must call or book online in advance to schedule.
3. Are you open on Saturdays?
The Chiropractor does have hours every other Saturday but you must call to schedule ahead of time. Walk-ins are welcomed if she is available. Massage and Pilates are available every Saturday by appointment only.
4. What should I expect at my first Chiropractic visit?
You will be asked to fill out some paperwork so it’s advised to come 5-10 minutes early to take care of that. You will then see the doctor that will go over your paperwork, take a brief history of your condition, do any exams necessary and then start your treatment. Your treatment can consist of all or some of the following: therapies such as electrical stimulation for muscle spasm, ultra-sound, pressure point therapy, heat, stretches and of course the chiropractic adjustments. She may also prescribe some stretches to do at home. If you have any questions for the doctor she will be happy to answer them at the conclusion. We also suggest that you dress comfortably to your visit- workout gear is a good choice.
5. Does the Chiropractic adjustment hurt?
The adjustment itself does not hurt. It actually releases endorphins- the feel good hormone that are release when you exercise. So you leave feeling rejuvenated and energized. You may feel some mild soreness the next day or two and that is normal just like with any exercise.
6. What happens if I do not want to be adjusted?
We respect your preference and there are other approaches we can take with muscle work, stretches and mobilization.
7. What can I expect on my massage visit and what should I wear?
You will be given a one page intake form that will give the therapist important information about you. This will help the therapist meet your needs with your massage. Please understand that massage therapy given here is for the purpose of stress reductions, relief from muscular tension or spasm or for increasing circulation and is NOT of sexual nature. You should dress comfortably.
8. What about if I do not have insurance?
We have very reasonable prices and we also have discounted cash Chiropractic, Massage and Pilates plans available to you. Please call for prices or check our website.
