General First Visit FAQs
When should I arrive?
For your first visit, we recommend you arrive 15-20 minutes early. Since we are a doctor’s office (Doctor of Chiropractic, of course) we’ve got a lot of paperwork for you to fill out…just like any doctor’s office. And, yes, you still have to fill out all the paperwork even if you’re not coming in for chiropractic.
Do you take insurance?
Yes, we accept PPO’s with out of network Chiropractic benefits. If you are unsure of your coverage give us a call and we’d be happy to inquire on your behalf. Currently, we are not part of any HMO plans. If you do not see your insurance listed please give us a call to confirm.

What if I don't have insurance?
We are proud to offer very affordable prices and packages Chiropractic care, massage therapy and Pilates for you. We also accept cash, check, or credit card.
What should I expect at my first Chiropractic visit?
You will be asked to fill out some paperwork so it’s advised to come 5-10 minutes early to take care of that. You will then see the doctor that will go over your paperwork, take a brief history of your condition, do any exams necessary and then start your treatment. Your treatment can consist of all or some of the following: therapies such as electrical stimulation for muscle spasm, ultra-sound, pressure point therapy, heat, stretches and of course the chiropractic adjustments. She may also prescribe some stretches to do at home. If you have any questions for the doctor she will be happy to answer them at the conclusion. We also suggest that you dress comfortably to your visit- workout gear is a good choice.
Does the chiropractic adjustment hurt?
The adjustment itself does not hurt. It actually releases endorphins- the feel good hormone that are release when you exercise. You’ll leave feeling rejuvenated and energized. You may feel some mild soreness the next day or two and that is normal, just like with any exercise.
What if I do NOT want to be adjusted?
We totally respect your preference. There are several other approaches we can do like trigger point therapy, muscle work, stretches and mobilization to help your body feel it’s best.
First Massage + Energy Healing Visit

What should I wear?
You should dress comfortably. Before the massage, you will be asked to disrobe down to whatever you’re comfortable with – naked, underwear, or fully clothed. It’s totally up to whatever makes you feel most comfortable and relaxed.
No worries. We totally understand. Finding a massage therapist who gives you a massage you like, applies the right amount of pressure, and knows how to work out your specific kinks can be tricky. Each of our skilled massage therapists has their forte, their strong points.

First Pilates Visit
What can I expect from my first Pilates visit?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out an intake form. This provides our awesome Pilates instructors with important information about your health and fitness background and your goals. As this is a doctor’s office, you will have to fill out the whole form…and it can take a while.
What should I wear?
You should dress in athletic attire. Please do not wear anything that is too loose or baggy, as the Pilates instructor needs to be able to see your muscles move. Also wearing clean socks is appreciated, but you won’t need your shoes.
