Massage Therapy

True massage therapy bodywork is more than just pampering. Massage therapy is actually a powerful ally to preventing and alleviating pain, discomfort, and the most deadly of all…stress. (Yes, folks, stress kills.)

Aside from just making you feel good, massages help you decrease anxiety, enhance your sleep quality, improve concentration and energy, detox your muscles, increase circulation, and reduce fatigue. Now who doesn’t want that?!?!?

Certified Neuromusucular Therapist. Heather Harris, will work her magic on all your tight and sore muscles. This two hour session includes a thorough assessment procedure and follows with 60 minute massage with deep tissue bodywork, and then 30 minutes of targeted neuromusuclar therapy on your specific pain points. This type of massage doesn’t leave you super sore like other deep tissue massages. Instead, this technique is designed to restore the neuromuscular joint back to its normal function. You’ve never experienced anything like the relief you’ll get!

THIS IS MANDATORY FOR YOUR FIRST NEUROMUSCULAR APPOINTMENT.

Follow Up Neuromusuclar Therapy

This 90 minute massage allots for 60 minutes for a deep tissue massage and 30 minutes to focus on specifically your pain points or “trigger points.” A neuromuscular massage will help alleviate the source of the pain by isolating pressure on your trigger point, and then releasing, and repeating this process, which helps eliminate toxins in the muscles and release energizing endorphins. You actively participate by breathing deep into the painful points, and communicating with your massage therapist about the exact location and intensity of your discomfort. The result: a significant decrease in pain (usually after just one treatment!).

NOT FOR YOUR FIRST NEUROMUSCULAR APPOINTMENT.
